The Friends of Largo Nature Park works closely with the volunteer naturalists of McGough Nature Park -- most of us have been long time hands-on volunteers ourselves! However, we are not in charge of the program itself. The program is organized through the City of Largo. Both the City and Friends are happy to have more hands on deck!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please stop by the Nature Center during hours of operation and let park rangers or one of the staff members know! They'll get you signed up for one of the orientation dates where you'll learn the ropes of what goes on around the park.
