- March 21st, 2026 Wilcox Nursery & Landscape Join our friends at Wilcox Nursery for a day full of native plants, artisans, educational & conservational outreach, delicious food from local vendors, and more! (check out the flyers below). These kind folks have been helping support the WK Preservation Group in their efforts to keep developers' hands off the West Klosterman Preserve. The nursery is located at 12501 Indian Rocks Road in Largo.

Welcome to our little slice of paradise.
The Friends of Largo Nature Parks is a volunteer-run group of nature enthusiasts who work hand-in-hand with the McGough Nature Park, the City of Largo, and volunteer naturalists. We are primarily responsible for the funding the Bird of Prey program, though as friends -- we do more than that! As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donations are our lifeblood. Your donations are what helps keep us going. Learn more about the park's animal residents, ways you can get involved, and upcoming events where you'll find us, no doubt with birds in tow! - donations are tax deductible within the context of law -
Weekly Bird Shows at the Nature Park
- Tuesdays at 11AM - Thursdays at 12PM - Sunday shows will be decided day-of. |
